Our MINISTRIES

SERVING IN THE VINEYARD

BIBLE STUDY

The Bible Study Ministry of LSCC saddles the responsibility of teaching the undiluted word of God and the word of grace to the members. It is set up to fully enlighten and build up believers in the word of God so that they are able to stand by themselves, live in obedience, live in holiness and for believers to enter into their inheritances and glorious destinies in Christ – Acts 20 v 32.

CHOIR

Worshippers whose lives have been fully offered and accepted by God with a testimony of God’s glory beaming through them as radiant light to permeate all the nations around the world.

CHILDREN

This team is made up of trained, educated and informed workers who regularly assist the Pastors to educate the children of the church morally and spiritually. Their impact on children’s spiritual growth is highly critical.

EVANGELISM

Evangelism is said to be the heartbeat of God, and it is the Great Commission. The church has the obligation to carry out this mandate. In order to achieve this, the church must develop realistic strategies and be well organized in it’s efforts. The Outreach team helps to organize and manage church resources in respect of this.

FOLLOW UP

This team collates lists of names of new converts and visitors at church events so as to follow them up. Additionally, they assemble and keep statistical data of new converts, old, current and new church members to monitor their attendance and advise the Pastorate for possible actions where and when necessary. They also check up on the general well-being of all members.

MEDIA

This team has the responsibility of operating and maintaining the audio/visual equipment during church programs. Also responsible for the graphic designs and media selections that support the communication and marketing of church teachings.

PRAYER

While prayer is the heart-cry of every believer, this ministry is specifically called to the frontlines of intercession. Following the biblical pattern in Exodus 17:12, we serve to “lift up the hands” of our leaders—supporting our Pastors and the administration of the Church through consistent, fervent prayer. We stand in the gap for the Body of Christ, ensuring that the work of the ministry is undergirded by the power of the Holy Spirit.

SANCTUARY KEEPERS

Cleanliness, they say, is next to Godliness. This team is a very important unit without which there will be no conducive atmosphere for on-site services. This unit is not as conspicuous, attractive and sensational as some of the other departments. However, the impact of what they do or fail to do does have immediate effects on the atmosphere of worship in any event of the church – because God is holy.

SOCIAL MEDIA

The Bible Study Ministry of LSCC saddles the responsibility of teaching the undiluted word of God and the word of grace to the members. It is set up to fully enlighten and build up believers in the word of God so that they are able to stand by themselves, live in obedience, live in holiness and for believers to enter into their inheritances and glorious destinies in Christ – Acts 20 v 32.

USHERS

Ushers serve as the gatekeepers of the Lord’s house, dedicated to maintaining divine order and a spirit of reverence during all services. Drawing inspiration from 1 Corinthians 14:40, we ensure that all things are done “decently and in order.” From providing a secure environment to overseeing church hospitality and kitchen stewardship, our ushers serve with a heart of excellence to ensure every worshiper feels welcomed and at peace.

WELFARE

The welfare department is an arm of the Living Spring Community Church (LSCC RCCG) saddled with the responsibility of taking care of and attending to the needs of members of the church and the community in which it operates. The fundamental principle on which the department is founded is love, the love of God, and that of our neighbors.

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS

Our Youth and Young Adult Ministry is a vibrant community where the next generation is empowered to live out their God-given purpose. Grounded in 1 Timothy 4:12, we encourage our young people to be examples in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Through authentic fellowship, discipleship, and creative engagement, we strive to build a foundation of faith that stands firm in a changing world, equipping them to lead and impact their spheres of influence for Christ.
